Enrichment??? Not anymore!

Julie B. Beck the General Relief Society President at the General RS Woman's Broadcast gave some changes to our formally called Enrichment Activities.

We are now calling them Relief Society Meetings (not Homemaking or Home, Family and Personal Enrichment). I am sure this will take some getting use to.

They will still be similar to what we are use to. The meetings (activities, service projects, quarterly activities, play dates, etc) will still need to fall into one of the following categories: Marriage and Family, Homemaking, Provident Living and Self Reliance, Compassionate Service, Temple and Family History, Sharing the Gospel and other topics given by the Bishopric.

We are having a meeting this week to plan activities that will help better serve the sisters in the ward. We will update the calendar soon, so you can know and plan for these meetings.

Wish us luck!

Super Saturday

Thank you to all the ladies who attended. We had fun making our crafts and talking. We also were able to tie 2 quilts for the Bishop's Store House.

A special thank you to all the ladies who came early and stayed late to clean up (Debbie, Elsie, Trisha, Anna and Summer). We love you! THANKS!!!

And to the Faith in God Girls, we couldn't have done it without your babysitting service. Thank you for being willing to take time out of your Saturday and help us out. YOU GUYS ROCK!!!

Activities

We are putting together activities for Enrichment. If you have any ideas of things you want to do or learn, please make a comment.

If there is something that you can do (a talent?) and would like to teach, please also make a comment or email.

We wanted to thank Michelle Christensen and Kristine Rasband for teaching us how to make those amazing hair clips. They were great, amazing, wonder and very stylish!

We had over 20 ladies show up to make gifts for their loved ones. We hope you all had fun getting out and talking with the other Ladies of Sage.
